On Monday 28th September 2009 from 800-1700, KICPAA in collaboration with ACCA launched a workshop on "Principles of Deferred Taxation". This workshop is intended to provide a basic understanding and overview of the complexities of IAS 12 (revised) Income Taxes that relate to the recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of deferred taxes. The workshop comprises explanations, illustrations, worked examples and a discussion of the disclosure requirements using the financial statements of selected companies.
